5 + 1 FUN THINGS TO DO THIS FALL IN EDMONTON

Introduction

With fall comes a variety of events in Edmonton. Cooler temperatures, changing leaves and Halloween offer something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re looking for a pumpkin patch, a haunted house or an Oilers game, there’s something fun to do in Edmonton this fall.

Pumpkins After Dark Edmonton

Edmonton’s Pumpkin After Dark event brings thousands of glowing pumpkins to Borden Park from September 29 to October 31. The colossal Halloween event features carved pumpkins that are reminiscent of classic Halloween characters, dinosaurs and dragons and movie and pop culture icons.

Tickets are available here.

Pumpkins at the Edmonton Corn Maze

The Edmonton Corn Maze is an autumn tradition for many Edmontonians. A trip to the maze is a great way to spend time with friends and family or on a date—especially when the corn starts to wilt, and the wind rustles through the stalks. Pumpkins that populate the area during the fall make great photo opportunities! The Edmonton Corn Maze will be open until October 23, 2022.

You can buy tickets online or in person here.

Deadmonton Haunted House

Since opening in 2014, the venue has been a staple of Halloween in Edmonton. This year they are back with two haunted houses: Icons of Darkness and Return of the Living Dead. Icons of Darkness will be their main attraction, and you can expect this one to be scarier than ever before. If you’re looking for more of a thrill, then try out Return of the Living Dead – an outdoor haunted house that will have you screaming all night long! The Deadmonton Haunted House is open until November 30, and the tikes can be purchased online here

Return of the Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers return for the 2022/23 season with their eyes on the path to the Stanley Cup. The season opener is October 12 against the Vancouver Canucks. Hockey season and fall go hand in hand in our city, and we can’t wait to be able to watch the Oilers from the seats of Rogers Place for the first time since their epic playoff run.

Rogers Place tickets are available online or by calling (780) 414-5483

Go on a Haunted Tour
