Spring’s arrival is just around the corner, and we for one, cannot wait for warmer weather, even more daylight, and all the greenery!
There’s no better way to “spring” into the changing seasons than with an upgrade to your home decor! While your space here at The Hat at Five Corners has large windows to let in all that natural spring lighting, it also gives you all the space you need to decorate your living space in a way that reflects you (and the new season).
And we’re not saying it would have to be a complete transformation – a simple seasonal change to brighten up your space can be achieved with some new accessories, and we list a few of our favourite ways below.
1. Place greenery throughout your home.
With the snow melting soon, it’s time to liven up your living space with fresh greenery. Just be sure you know which plants need the most sunlight and water to ensure they grow all season long. You can check out our blog post 5 Of The Best Indoor Plants For Your Apartment This Spring to help you get started.
2. Invest in a statement piece of furniture.
If you’re looking for a way to make your living space pop, spring is the perfect time to consider investing in that unique piece of furniture you’ve had your eyes on to make a bold statement. These Local Vintage Furniture Shops are sure to have something in stock that will complement the rest of your decor.
3. Add some spring scents.
While it may still be a little too chilly to open the windows to smell the spring air, that doesn’t mean your home can’t smell like spring! Pick up some scented candles and essential oils to make your home at The Hat smell like the season when you walk through the door.
4. Throw in some pops of colour.
Along with your new statement piece of furniture, try adding in some more pops of colour with new, bright decorative pillows or throw blankets – they will do just the trick!
5. Vamp up your balcony.
With all the space you have on your balcony here at The Hat at Five Corners, you might as well decorate it so that you can enjoy it’s full potential when the weather warms up! We even have a guide featuring some tips on Decorating Your Balcony to help make your balcony feel just as at home as the rest of your apartment does.
